This week is the launch of our #IPANEMA project, funded by the European Union’s #Horizon2020 research & innovation programme.
The Goal? To integrate paper-based nucleic acid testing methods into microfluidics devices for improved biosensing applications, including:
- Tissue engineering
- Agrifood pathogen detection
- Detection of toxigenic freshwater cyanobacteria
Eden is proud to have been selected to be a member of this consortium and to provide the material expertise needed in order to design and mass produce microfluidic devices. With our unique proprietary Flexdym material we hope to develop and commercialize simple and low-cost devices that are more accessible to communities.
